Triple S/R Stocks: Triple Support and Resistance
Triple S/R Stocks is the AOC screener that lists F&O stocks sitting at a support or resistance where open interest, volume and OI change all point to the same strike. It is a stricter cut of S/R Stocks, for intraday traders who only want levels that three readings agree on.

What is triple support and resistance?
On any option chain, the put strike with the highest OI, the one with the highest volume and the one with the highest OI change are often different strikes. When all three land on one strike, writers, traders and fresh positions are all crowded there. That is triple support. Triple resistance is the same thing on the call side.
How does a stock get on the Triple S/R list?
Two checks, both on the latest option chain reading:
- The stock passes the S/R Stocks test: its price is very close to the reversal price at its support (or resistance) strike.
- For support, the highest put OI, highest put volume and highest put OI change are all the same strike. For resistance, the same is true on the call side.
Can you show an example?
Say SBIN trades at 812. On the put side, the 800 strike has the highest OI (62 lakh), the highest volume and the highest OI change of the day. Support is 800 and its reversal price is 811.40. Price is sitting just above that level, so SBIN shows in the Support column of Triple S/R. If the highest put volume had been at 790 instead, SBIN would still appear on S/R Stocks, but not here.
How often does Triple S/R refresh?
The page polls every 10 seconds while it is open and visible. A stock is added to the same column at most once every 10 minutes, so repeat entries mean the stock came back to the level later in the day. Repeats are grouped under one row with a ×N badge.
How do I use Triple S/R to shortlist a trade?
- Open Triple S/R Stocks from the Stock Screener menu.
- Use Search symbol if you only care about a few names, or scan the Support and Resistance counts to see which side the market is leaning.
- Tap Live on a stock to open its option chain. Confirm the same strike still leads in OI, volume and OI change, and that the level has not shifted.
- Check the price action and the reversal chart around the reversal price before deciding.
- Set your stop beyond the level and size the position on the chain. Then place the order with your broker.

What should I watch out for?
Triple S/R is analysis, not a buy or sell recommendation. It needs AOC Pro; see pricing.
- Triple agreement makes a level stronger on paper. It does not stop a stock from breaking it on news or a sector move.
- Fewer stocks qualify, so some days the list is short or one column is empty (the page says "No Support stocks" or "No Resistance stocks").
- Rows stay for the day even if the level later breaks.
- There is no target or stop-loss on the list.
Frequently asked questions
What is a triple support stock?
In AOC it is an F&O stock trading very close to its support reversal price, where the put strike with the highest OI is also the strike with the highest put volume and the highest put OI change. Triple resistance is the call side mirror.
How is Triple S/R different from S/R Stocks?
Every Triple S/R stock is also on S/R Stocks at that moment. Triple S/R adds the condition that OI, volume and OI change all agree on one strike, so the list is shorter.
Can I get alerts for Triple S/R stocks?
Yes. Turn on push alerts in Settings, Notifications, and select the Triple S/R topic. You get an alert when a new stock is added.
Is Triple S/R good for intraday?
It is built from live intraday option chain data and refreshes every 10 seconds, so it suits intraday use. Treat it as a shortlist and confirm each level on the chain before trading.
